Committee:
Kathleen Taylor for Oregon

Experience, Commitment, and Community Involvement

“I am supporting Representative Kathleen Taylor for the Oregon Senate because she has the experience and commitment to make a difference for Oregon.”

-Governor Barbara Roberts

Strengthening Public Schools
Strong public schools are the ladder of opportunity. Kathleen has two children in public schools and has served as a PTA President. As State Representative, she has fought to restore a full school year and ensure all students have the opportunity to succeed.

A Stronger Economy
Kathleen voted to increase Oregon’s minimum wage to help working families. She supports greater investment in our aging infrastructure and in workforce training to keep our economy growing and create family wage jobs.

Accountable and Efficient Government
Kathleen has applied her skills as an auditor to the Legislature’s budget writing process, pushing for greater efficiency while protecting the most vulnerable.

A Healthy Environment
Climate change is the biggest threat to our future. Kathleen is proud of the passage of the landmark Coal to Clean and Clean Fuels laws. She is also committed to addressing threats to our air quality and making sure the public’s health is protected.

Fairness for All Oregonians
Equal rights and protection of the vulnerable are her core values. Kathleen has proven she will fight to protect ALL Oregonians.
