Senator Elizabeth Steiner Hayward
Senator Elizabeth Steiner Hayward is a family physician at OHSU. She currently serves as the President of the Oregon Academy of Family Physicians and as the Director of the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute Breast Health Education Program.
She has been very active in crafting health policy in Oregon. In 2005, she was instrumental in the passage of a bill that required health insurers to cover Clinical Breast Examinations for women.
